History

James Bracey is a publican with address as Belton Street in 1841. He is named at the Kings Head in 1844 & 1846. In 1851 he is an innkeeper, but the address is Lockless Lane.

 

The Pub was closed after 1974 – The Reopening announced in Eastern Daily Press 18.03.1997, "…following completion of extension, interior revamp and remodelling of entrance"
